Moving Forward from our Past

With the polarising debate today about what was agreed when Te Tiriti was signed, my book researches the time leading up to the Treaty to understand why a Treaty was needed and what it really meant as understood at the time. It then continues to examine the progress of Maori in the following years, the rise of Kingitanga and the land wars that followed. With this information we have an evidence based foundation for discussing how we should move forward to correct past problems and to create a better future for all New Zealanders.
