My background is in education and I have worked in diverse settings. I currently am a Head of Department and Literacy Coordinator at girls' secondary school.

I co-own and manage a beautiful heritage-listed property in Kurow, North Otago where I write, usually short stories and poetry.

My aim is to publish a poetry anthology, inspired by one of my son's death eight years ago and I also want to publish a book that focuses on the experiences of bereavement and how to help the bereaved.
