Carol Maxwell

Carol Maxwell's poems and personal essays have been published in magazines and anthologies (on line and in print) in New Zealand, England and Australia. Her writing has placed in several national writing competitions (ensuring that she continues to bravely wave the flag of aspiration). Her first collection, The Geologist's Daughter, was published in 2024. When she’s not shepherding words, she is reading them, gardening, working in creative fibers and messing about in boats. She lives in Blenheim Aotearoa, with her husband, garden and boat.
