Sue and her husband Pat Hammond live on a farm east of Dannevirke. Sue has written for film, tv and radio. She is also the author of six novels, two short story collections  and the non-fiction Escape From Bosnia.Her book, Other Halves, won two major literary awards and was made into a film. Her most recent novel, Landed, was published this year. During her long  writing career Sue has  also been a columnist, a journalist, a teacher of creative writing and both a literary and script editor
